“Every human has four endowments – self-awareness, conscience, independent will, and creative imagination.
These give us the ultimate human freedom… The power to choose, to respond, to change.”
~ Stephen Covey
Individual Therapy is sometimes referred to as “psychotherapy” or “counseling.” If you have never done individual therapy you may have preconceived notions of what it will be like. We find that people often think they will be the only ones talking, the sessions will be unstructured, and their provider will just respond by asking “and how do you feel about that?” This is not the experience you will have at The Raeda Group, PLLC.
Individual Therapy is a one-on-one approach and typically involves regularly scheduled meetings. These are standard 50-minute sessions, however longer or shorter sessions are available upon request. Therapy is a collaborative process between a trained mental health provider and client that focuses on the facilitation of change and improvement in quality of life. The sessions will be structured based on the client’s goals. People use therapy for many reasons. Regardless of reason, generally people seek therapy because they want to feel better and be happier. Whatever your reason, therapy will provide you a supportive environment for you to develop skills, make the changes you desire in your life, and/or heal from emotional pain. The staff at The Raeda Group, PLLC are relatable, engaged, and goal oriented. We provide a professionally casual atmosphere so you feel comfortable when meeting with us. Most importantly, we will help guide you accomplish your goals.
