June's Mindfulness Activity of the Month:
Ball Breathing
Find a comfortable sitting position in which your back is supported
Place a stress ball in your non-dominant hand
Close your eyes
Breath normally
Slowly squeeze the ball in your non-dominant hand take a deep (diaphragmatic)
slow breath in through your nose and count to five
Keep fist clenched on the ball on hold your breath for five seconds
Slowly relax your hand and exhale out your mouth and count to five
Breath normally for three minutes
Repeat only twice with three-minute interludes
